I believe that I have learnt how to do these things sufficiently through this course. Apart from this I also think that this course has helped me learn about perspectives of different people from a different place and era. I do believe that I have achieved the course objectives. Critical thinking, analyzing and learning and appreciating were all part of the course objectives and I think all these skills have been honed because of this course. This study reveals that the S-STP provides scientific method for the instructor to study own teaching practices. The S-STP as a research approach enables the course instructor to reflect on opportunities and challenges on teaching. The research approach also enables the instructor to self-assess the professional development as a teacher-educator. Moreover, feedback from the critical friend unveiled strengths and weaknesses of the teaching that were possible unseen by the instructor.


Abstrak Dengan menerapkan self-study of teaching practice S-STP , penelitian ini mengkaji proses pembelajaran lintas-agama di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Buddha Kertarajasa. S-STP yang terapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah alternatif potensial yang bisa menjawab berbagai tantangan pembelajaran yang banyak diabaikan oleh pendekatan-pendekatan penelitian pendidikan lainnya. Perkuliahan mata kuliah lintas-agama selama masa pandemi Covid dilaksanakan secara daring. Mata kuliah tersebut dirancang dan diajarkan oleh penulis pertama yang merupakan pendidik non-Buddha di kampus penyelenggara pendidikan Buddha. Perkuliahan difasilitasi dengan berbagai media pembelajaran online, didukung dengan metode penyangga belajar scaffold learning , dan kuliah tamu.


Dalam proses pembelajaran, mahasiswa diberikan kesempatan untuk berinteraksi dengan instruktur dan dosen tamu. Dosen tamu terdiri dari liyan the other dan pakar kajian agama. Interaksi tersebut sangat penting untuk mengembangkan kesadaran mahasiswa terhadap komunitas keagamaan lainnya, dan memberikan ruang bagi mereka untuk mengalami moderasi beragama.
